Forward Deployed UX/UI Designer

Your Mission

Traversals is looking for experienced UX/UI Designers as part of our Forward Deployed Product Team with innovative problem-solving skills fueled by a desire to help design, build, and improve our user interfaces.

The mission of a UX/UI designer is to accompany the constant product evolution, always keeping the end-user and our customer at the focus. To achieve that mission, UX/UI designers are involved in all stages of the product development and deployment lifecycle: idea generation, user/customer feedback, planning, design, prototyping, execution, shipping, and iteration.

Your tasks:

Driving a holistic UX approach to user-centered product development.
Developing design concepts that convince your team members and our customers.
Planning and execution of different customer research activities as a basis for your design decisions.
Responsive interaction and UI design for web and mobile.
Continuous improvement of user experience quality through data analysis, interviews, user testing, etc.
Collaboration in agile and cross-functional teams with a high level of autonomy.

Your Profile

>3 years of experience as a designer of digital products and services (web and mobile).
Experience in design research and user-centered design.
Very good knowledge in design and creation of wireframes, app and web screens.
Solid use of tools such as Sketch or Adobe XD.
Strong talent and very good knowledge in pixel-perfect UI design for intuitive digital products.
Good time management and structured way of working to reliably deliver high-quality work.
Forward-thinking and self-organized.
Experience in agile working methods such as Scrum or Kanban.
Excellent German language skills, both written and spoken (C1).
Willingness to visit our prime customers on-premise.
